Everybody's going to jail!

Hey. Did I ever do that Klanya thread?
I think I might have gotten bored before I got around to it.

I *know* I covered Staph and her freakish ability to turn racism into a verb, but I don't remember if I ever actually followed up with the one about how sTanya thought that haranguing a "friend" on Twitter for hours was some sort of private conversation that no one else could see, and that the second she got a comment she didn't like — read: someone took the other person's side — she did the urKaren manoeuvre of shrieking about what a poor, fragile victim she is.

And then the race-shifting started. 🤦🏾‍♀️

Klanya is a fascinating example, to me, of how people who WANT to punch down operate.

This is not a kind society to large people, but especially women.
We don't even have to remotely get into just how shitty people can be when given an opening to be shitty.

But what fascinates me, is how some people take that as a motivation to make things better, and others simply look for their opportunity to do the same to others.

One very obvious group of people a large white woman can punch down on is Black people. Klanya grabs that opportunity with BOTH HANDS every time it presents itself.

Look! she shrieks. I am not the lowest rung! See? Look at this person with the nerve to address me! On twitter! How dare she! I AM A VICTIM! Protect me! I am a valuable white woman after all!

@Gigi
Do you have a rundown of the whole Ca ry ma thing? Her video of protestors setting off a smoke flare is riling people up, and I'm concerned that she may be misrepresenting the demonstration. I'd like to explain to people why they might not want to trust her coverage.

@okayherewego

Oh, if people haven't figured out that the person who got pissed that Asian people were upset that she wanted to bring a Sinophobe/holocaust-denier and his racist-assed entourage to the heart of Chinatown; who then pivoted from blaming Asian people and made it instead about the people who went to support the actual organizers; who has subsequently developed an enemies list that numbers in the neighbourhood of 150 people; whose only guiding principle appears to be "the enemy of my enemy is great to work with"; who has no qualms about providing free legal support to fascists; whose content is regularly featured in right-wing personalities' feeds and right-wing media; whose footage got the Moxies workers fired; and on and on, if they haven't figured out that she's a problem YET, I am not sure what exactly can be done. 🤷🏾‍♀️

But feel free to check the #CarymaNgo hashtags on here and on Twitter.
