I often wonder, people who are still masking diligently in 2024 to avoid a neurodegenerative virus, what they were like as toddlers.. because the amount of fortitude necessary in a world that has decided to move on… there surely must be interesting backstories

If people dare say to me “still masking huh” my saccharine sweet yet simultaneously deadpan response is, I’ve read too much

@Lorrrraaaaine a little older than toddler age at the time but I remember the commercial where one kid did NOT want to join in on the “I want to be an Oscar Meyer Weiner” song and the others bullied him into it. I was SO offended by this and refused to eat anything from that brand because those kids were bullies and, IMO, stupid (I thought wanting to be a hot dog was absurd). In retrospect, that reaction said a lot about my reactions to other things later 😂
