skry@JimsPhotos Photograph of a gaudy, fake-looking duck in profile, standing on a log with woods behind. It ought to be called a “painted duck” because of its flamboyant coloring.
It has a red bill, orange head and frill, white eye-stripes, black cap with orange stripe, metallic purple chest and shoulders, 5 black and red horizontal breast stripes, bright white underbelly, light brown sides; brown, blue and gray wings; blue and striped tail, with orange feet.
