Stjep@Strandjunker It is wild to me that he's still eligible to run for president.
But that I can live with. The thing that is utterly insane to me, is that there are over 40% (at least) of the US population that want to elect him.
I can understand a small minority approving of his rhetoric, be uninformed or just blindly partisan. But over 40%?
Trump, for all his bravado, has repeatedly and impressively proven that he is not only ill-suited for the job, but a horrid caricature of a human being.
Grassroots JoeI think we can split that up into at least three sets of people.
Cultists who want a dictatorship so that they can be elevated to a higher position in society by virtue of their cult membership.
Those who loathe Trump but see him as a path to things they want. This includes oligarchs and other business interests and some of the religious right intelligencia.
Finally lifelong Republicans who haven't yet figured out that it isn't actually the Republican party anymore.
