Oh, my, I'm in the WSJ complaining about MSNBC hiring Ronna McDaniel. Guess I won't be on their air for a while. Truth is, all I watch is MSNBC. I just want it to be better than this. (Gift link)

This sentence got me: "The tensions @MSNBC demonstrate how tricky it can be for news networks to hire former politicians & Washington insiders as contributors—a common practice." #RonnaMcDaniel's insider status includes, well we all know what it includes. #MSNBC can't cordon itself off from #NBC. The "odor of mendacity," to quote Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, doesn't stay in one place (or on one channel).
