Slowly realizing our current existence on planet earth is actually more dystopian than almost any fictional story told but when faced with a plague of inhumanity my strongest protest is giving out as much love, compassion, and kindness as possible.

Despair feels obvious but it’s giving in to the worst forces working against us.

This is a lot to ponder over corn flakes, no idea why it hit me like a bolt of lightning this morning.

@mathowie a writer friend said that reality is weirder than fiction because reality doesn't need to be believable to the reader.

@mathowie @george Truth. And also because, unlike (nearly all) fiction, reality doesn't wrap-up. Like the best or worst story still has a tomorrow in it if you live through it.
@mathowie The biological and social imperative to have children must be very strong, because logically it doesn't make sense to have children, or inflict this world on children, unless you have generational wealth.
