Not a terrible movie by any means but Doctor Sleep. Poor elderly folks just weren’t prepared for certain events
Hmm, are we talking like Clockwork Orange level events?
I’ve never heard of this movie before? Would you personally recommend watching it for any particular reason?
originaluciferi liked doctor sleep, i would recommend it. you might want to watch The Shining first, as its technically a sequel.. but stands firm on its own.
Both reading and watching The Shining really helped me appreciate what Flannigan pulled off in making Dr. Sleep. He kept all the lore and nostalgia of Kubrick’s movie and also found a way to put back most of the King material that Kubrick had abandoned.
It’s a sequel to the shining. It’s pretty good but not amazing.
I don’t remember what would gave scared folks out, but probably something about the… you know what, enjoy.
It has some disturbing (not sexual) stuff with kids. Some people can’t stomach that. Otherwise, it’s a pretty tame pseudo-horror film.
