Hacker/InfoSec conferences should be required to test the code that submitted talks are demoing. Far too often people submit talks with incomplete or broken code that only somehow works on their machine, and get the privilege to get up on stage and promote themselves or their new tool that probably doesn't work.

I can't tell you how many times I've heard about some new hyped up tool announced at a conference, found it on GitHub, tried to compile/install/use it, and surprise surprise it doesn't work and is extremely buggy! Worse is when presenters keep promising "I'll upload the code after the talk" and they don't or what they upload is incomplete.

The bar is set way too low.
