Today is World Water Day, a UN observance of the importance of clean water. As obvious as it sounds that clean water is important, a lot of people don't always act like it. That's why I've taken to volunteering with the Tarrant Regional Water District at the Trash Bash, an event oriented towards keeping the Trinity River and other Texas freshwater clear of garbage and pollutants. The next round of Trash Bash volunteering is in April, so to my Texas friends, I hope to see you there!
