In #Russia, prisons have begun to close as prisoners are being sent to war, according to #The_Insider.

#Mark_Denisov, the Commissioner for Human Rights in the #Russian_Federation, stated that due to a lack of prisoners, the following facilities will be closed in the near future:

▫️ #IK_16, housing previously convicted men, located in the village of #Areiskoye.
▫️ #IK_7, a strict regime facility, situated in the village of #Gromadsk in the #Krasnoyarsk Territory.

#Denisov expressed his belief that the war will eventually come to an end, and normalcy will return as the social structure of society remains unchanged. However, he cautioned that in five years, new penitentiary institutions would need to be opened, albeit at exorbitant prices.
