Last night, the result didn’t go our way. We are disappointed, but not regretful. It has truly been a privilege to run in the district in which I grew up. Each of you trusted in me, and I will be forever grateful. Because you have made all the difference.

@QasimRashid I've been following here and also wish it had gone the other way. I'm not a US citizen, but I hope you'll run for elected office in future. Regardless of what you decide, I wish you all the best in in all your endeavors. Kudos on running a clean and people-funded campaign, and I hope more people can build on your efforts and example.
