I love @system76 - They're great company with good people and I admire what they do. But it's now 2 years into owning my Thelio r2 and honestly it's been awful. It's a REALLY poor design. My CPU runs at 192F under light load. The case just doesn't offer enough airflow. I don't know if I'd trust them again. It really, sincerely pains me to say that, but I had hoped to get 7-8 years out of this machine and given its innards are just COOKING on a good day, and that it sometimes just powers down without notice, I'm not convinced I will.

If I could afford to I'd just cut my losses, sell it and buy something with a larger form factor and better airflow.
