Sometimes they get lucky and the Scrum master that joins will go through rearranging the deck chairs to stay in the role and be able to ask more important questions and influence cultural change. Sometimes it feels like preparing the ground for the next planting season.
Most of the times they won't get lucky and good people will leave or won't have patience to slowly influence the systemic and cultural change, and the ones who stay will be compliant ones.
