Steam debuts Steam Families with new parental controls

Steam Families overhauls shared libraries to let more people play at once and makes it easier for parents to buy games for their kids.

@verge Heh, I remember how many forum regulars very, very insistently argued that Steam would never let people play game B from a library when someone else is playing game A. These arguments were pretty frequent on the Steam forums, especially the Suggestions forum, where people would regularly suggest ways to improve Steam that the regulars thought they were oh-so-smart in "knowing" and condescendingly explaining why that those things supposedly wouldn't ever happen.
