Plans got royally thrown for a loop this weekend. Ended up taking my dog to the groomers today instead of tomorrow. So now hitting up breweries closer to me than going in to Baltimore as originally planned.

Currently at Cushwa & Rad Pies trying a bunch of IPAs.

@gnitro Plans got a little tweaked for me this weekend as well. Led to a bit of free time in Providence RI. Long Live Beerworks was open…
@dandrumheller Hope the beer was good! Thankfully with my plans getting twisted... the Barleywine I had today was the 2nd best Barleywine I've ever had... and that says a lot lol

@gnitro I struggle with barleywine. Had a couple I’ve liked, and quite a few I didn’t…but I’m very probably trying the wrong ones.

The beer was spectacular - I’d say they’re arguably top 3 in New England for modern hazy IPAs. And that’s a VERY crowded space here!

@dandrumheller Barleywines aren't for everyone, and not every brewery does them well. We luckily have a good chunk of breweries that do them very well here.

The 2nd spot I went to today is #1 for hazies in Maryland, but tbh I kind of have fallen back to the west coast style recently.

@gnitro I’ll just have to keep trying them - I’ll eventually find more I like!

Not much experience with MD breweries; hit up a couple around Dewey Beach in Delaware a couple years ago, and we did make it to Burley Oak - those were some amazing and outlandish beers!

@dandrumheller I don't drink Burley Oak... but won't go in to reasons... But if you make it back to Maryland, you have to check out 2 spots.

Sapwood Cellars and Elder Pine. Probably the best 2 overall breweries in this state.
