@jaykuo The Georgia case is a racketeering case, and Mike Roman did what racketeers do - dig up dirt on prosecutors and witnesses and smear them with it. You heard the witnesses - the guy who turned down the special prosecutor job didn't want to have to live with security, and Willis and her family got death threats.

The judge had to hold the hearing, but I hope he reminds the defense attorneys of the definitions of contempt of court and obstruction of justice.

@jaykuo Here's the weird thing. If they are arguing that she only hired him because of the relationship, and not because he's a good lawyer, then why are Trump's lawyers upset if she hired a less good lawyer? Surely the opposite would be true? It's not a conflict of interest because Willis and Wade are not on opposite teams in any case.

This is not just about this case, it's about the chilling effect.

Who feels like taking on Trump now? Who actually has both the energy and feels squeaky clean enough to wager they will not find some unpleasantness (even if legal) to drag out?
