Jo - pièce de résistance@luckytran they would be better off and more accurate comparing Covid and long covid to HIV and AIDS, with viral load making a difference in how AIDS is managed, the need to use prophylactics, and the myriad of nearly identical ways it presents.
@luckytran HIV presents as a bad flu and went unknown for ages until the viral loads, and lack of management killed many people. And then the victims were shamed, instead of helping them.
So when people call Covid symptoms just like a bad flu, they need to understand it’s just the bite, not the poison you feel. The poison goes through your whole body & remains there trying to kill you, and is much much worse. Giving you other diseases you die from or make your life miserable.
