Of course it isn’t an exact parallel. Jews fleeing persecution were given a country in another people’s land. Palestinians fleeing Gaza are being sent back.

The Jewish people living in Palestine at the time were largely ostracized by the immigrating European Zionists. Correct, the Jewish people have no historical claim to the area, given that said claim was won through brutal conquest and genocidal subjugation of the people who already lived there.

They do, but not because they have lived there historically. It’s because they have lived the last 76 years in there in a country that is internationally ratified.
