I checkout out pixelfeed the other day. I would love to scroll though photos with no sensitive filers up. I have no idea how you mange the bandwidth costs.
Personally I would like the fediverse to embrace advertising.
Maybe this is a good reason to attend the #fediforum. @fediforum
The Fediverse is practically never going to embrace advertising because it's strongly anti-theist to the overall principles that a lot of people have around consent, privacy, safety, etc.
Advertising means saying to some portion of the community: you're not welcome because advertisers don't like that you, e.g,, post lewd content.
