Maybe? Its highly dependant on a lot of factors. If Cloud can use healing items and magic, then does that mean Link can use fairies? If thats the case, then Link would technically be immortal.
Can Link summon fairies endlessly? Theoretically, Cloud could max out final attack and phoenix summons and then as long as he has MP he can respawn when killed and also max out items that restore MP. Link would essentially need to have limitless fairies.
SternFinal attack + phoenix, mp absorb + master summon. KotR + MP Turbo Don’t need MP items anymore since any summon gives all your MP back, including the phoenix final attack that rezzes you.
Cloud wins under normal circunstances against any Link except maybe one wearing the Fierce Deity mask from MM and even then its close.
Altima NEOLink can freeze time and cook/eat though

Also isnt FF7 turn based? Going by those rules Cloud can also freeze time.
I mean the last two Zelda games were mainline Zelda games. It’s as regular as it gets.
They threw everything in mainline Zelda games except the very original in the trash. BotW and TotK are very much NOT “regular” Zelda games.
