@malwaretech @GossiTheDog I think what Kevin is highlighting is that there are cities you can live in/near in the UK, where you can have a better standard of living on a tech wage than London, even if that tech wage is lower than you would get in London. Manchester isn't always a shithole, for example, and on a tech wage you could live like a king compared to how you would live in London.

@near @malwaretech @GossiTheDog right, but climate is a function of geography. UK is about 9° of latitude from top to bottom, the USA spans 50° or so if you count Hawaii and Alaska. It's comparing apples to oranges. Manchester, UK is further north than every US state except Alaska...
