This spring, the "crazy off-by-one weeks" period is three weeks long. The time between the US change to daylight saving until the EU switches. All US<=>Euro meetings are off by one hour during this period.

Starts now, ends on March 31. The perfect excuse to miss out on selected most boring meetings =)

@bagder I really hate DST. I also hate the bugs that come, too. This is why we have libfaketime.
@bagder yeah. And 3 weeks to get all the collisions sorted out when you have meetings in your calendar that got organized from both sides of the Atlantic.🙄

@wifi_freak @bagder "I'm sorry, the Americans decided to shift DST and I can't attend this meeting"

(sent to both meetings, of course)

@bagder I like these 3 weeks more than the autumn's 1 week period, because we're closer now. Meetings time are easier.
@bagder it affects Australia to Euro as well 🙂 but only for one week
@bagder DST is a sick joke. We should all be on UTC. Or perhaps stardates.
@bagder Now imagine you work in a company where there are regular NZ, US, UK meeetings and the timezones change over the next four weeks!

@bagder Good way to look at it.

In Taiwan for a business trip, and TW doesn’t have daylight savings / summer time. Yay.

@trollball yay only if you don't have meetings with people in daylight saving zones...
