@berlinfokus Sadly, I met far too many marginalized Americans in 2016 who gladly voted for Trump only on the basis of benefiting their portfolios at the expense of their personal freedom. They knew he was wrong in every other way, and they didn't care. It was eye-opening.

It didn't really work out, did it?

I mean financially. Stocks went so lala, while politically everthing tanked.

And then corona happend and everything went from bad to worse.

But yes, there is good chance the same people will go for a second round of losing with the same arguments. 😒
