Just want to get my friends to try anything ftom the frediverse and i think pixelfed is the only platform that ordinary people will want to use in tge frediverse.
Most people are using the alternatives due to being addicted to the constant feed of everything they like. There’s nothing like that. You’d have to convince them they have a problem and ween them off lol

I’ve had almost no luck convincing people to try something else… hard to overcome the momentum and the “but everyone I know is on that one”
