The EU decided to create a bunch of laws to penalize and make it easier to fine US big tech companies with the Biden administration’s stance being “we don’t like them either.”

This is one of the few policy successes of the leftists on Biden.

It does, but just as with immigration rules and counter-extremism rules, the laws were made in full knowledge of who they would be likely to be enforced on, and that knowledge is reflected in the final text.
