Sauron's something, definitely, if not eye.

Considering the reality 'behind' the brightness, it could be Sauron snapped shortly after having a really spicy curry.

@APoD what is the slit in the middle of the cup shaped structure in the picture? It looks like a shadow from something protruding out.
