Some weeks ago, I came across this article, and it blew my mind to realise how little we know about our own brains (!)

The saddest part is that the main reason for this to happen is the long-lasting inequality of women (in whatever aspect/field you want to add here - even as subjects of research)

The menstrual cycle can reshape your brain

Studies show that the volume or thickness of certain brain regions expand during monthly periods—but they don’t reveal whether that’s connected to emotional fluctuations.

And what made it even more mindblowing was to realise that this power dynamic has made us all women become strangers in our own bodies and brains.

There is so much ahead of us to discover and to understand that today I can't help but wish all the women who read this, the ones around me, and the ones I love the wisdom and the strength to reclaim and own the beautiful thing that is to be one. 💜💚
