IRS is finally rolling out a tool to file your taxes directly with them online for free. TurboTax lobbyists kept this from happening for years, but their repeated lies and broken promises year after year were finally too much.

https://directfile.irs.gov/ is currently available in a limited number of states, but they are planning to expand the pilot program more generally.
