Rivian surprises with R3 and R3X electric SUVs

Rivian stunned the crowd of the R2 launch with the reveal of two new vehicles: the crossover R3 and its sportier R3X variant.

They look like someone from the 80’s was trying to design something for the 21st century. Have a heavy 80’s feel to their look.

It looks like 80% ioniq 5 and 20% old beetle to me. It was a nice surprise but I don’t think they will age well.

Yeah I’ve long felt they are mostly attractive, but those two front lights already look outdated. V2 is going to have to do something about that.

and when the turn signals are just the headlight rings changing color they look ridiculous.
