@siracusa John, I don’t know what people much younger than me are doing but Millennials be like “give me the Aux” anywhere there’s an actual Aux cord involved, up to and including at the club with the DJ when you’re drunk enough to want to annoy him. Alternatives are “can you play that song?” Or “can I put on the next song” or “can I put on my music” or “look up this song”.

“Put it on Aux” sounds like it could be either an old or young person’s misinterpretation, or maybe regional?

@atpfm

@maximusplasmus It's "put me on aux." Try Googling for that phrase (with quotes around it).
@siracusa @maximusplasmus Stop trying to make “fetch” happen, my friend.
@siracusa Fair enough. The original by the way is also “hand me the aux cord” including the drunken variations I’m more familiar with. https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Hand%20me%20the%20aux%20cord
