How are you practicing hope? Where do you put your hope during lengthy troubled times?

@lizopp — I didn’t favorite or boost it, but I will respond. I do not “practice hope”; as somebody or other observes in the novel *Dune*, hope blinds observation, and I would rather observe clearly and grapple with whatever truth is to be seen.
@SeumanOtwal Does this mean you don’t hope? This isn’t intended to be a snarky question.

I experience a baseline hope that is independent of chances and situations. I don’t doubt it is the same hope that keeps animals of all species going in terrible situations, and I don’t doubt that it was put in me, and in them, by God who shaped us all.
