Nintendo higher-ups, please die a forever painful death involving cars covered in hammers that explode more than a few times and hammers go flying everywhere

on a more personal note, i'm not mad at yuzu devs, but kinda disappointed. by no means were they providing pirated media, quite like bittorrent software, and i would've hoped they went through the legal battle for a future with stronger digital rights, but oh well.
more than anything, this facilitated actual switch users to take further advantage of their games with better hardware to run them.
this does open up an opportunity however. i think the need for legal teams to protect emulators is further required
@m it's pretty cut and dry in north america, not sure what you're talking about not going to lie
@vultumast as in, having a group of lawyers to defend emus. a sort of coallition
@m I guess? but we don't really need it. Yuzu had it coming from using leaked code and promoting piracy from blatantly working on games before release so people could play before release

@vultumast @m the existing precedent is pretty clear/not clear, but stuff like this continuing to happen is going to break it

Also we need our devs to not fucking endorse piracy and give the ravenous ninjas half an excuse to nuke projects

@m *nodds in agreement*

There was no way one could've used either #Yuzu nor #Citra to rip #3DS nor #NintendoSeitch games with these or even play #Dumps if said Cartridges since all #retail games were in fact #encrypted.

Forcing #Emulators to close is like banning the #FlipperZero: #ShootingTheMessenger whilst refusing to address the core problem of #Leaks!

Meanwhile people torrent the hell out of the archived #git of #YuzuEmu and I hope people will also put up #CitraEmu's git and #binary releases of both!
