Bex B. Sc.Paper usually has that little bit of a shine when you hold it just right into the light. And so does some fountain pen ink when dry. What I absolutely love about Diamine Registrar's is that it doesn't. It's matte and doesn't reflect light like the paper surrounding it. It's the little details that I enjoy the most about some inks.
