There was some jeering over Addison Mitchell McConnell III's tearful announcement of his eventual retirement. And some very unfair comparisons to turtles. (Leave turtles out of it. They are majestic enigmatic creatures full of grace & also probably lettuce.)
I couldn't smile at the words of a man who deeply loved his work, who was proud of what he'd done-
When he has done nothing but trash the country I love. All that political acumen and brinkmanship wasted on the worst aims. And not a clue.
What I would enjoy is taking him for a ride in a time machine. Show him how he will be remembered.
And mostly how he won't be remembered much as crisis after crisis he has neglected or fueled will take up all of our time.
We will systematically erase every single thing you have done. I can't say there won't still be a scar, a lingering harm.
But nothing you have worked for will endure.
You know someone has effed up when reversing everything they've done and erasing their legacy is an excellent plan for the future.
@futurebird I fully expect this is exactly what he worked for. He has a deep seated hate for America. I think it stems from being kicked out of the Army, possibly after being outed as homosexual. He then set out to destroy whatever he could.
I honestly think your trip for him would make him proud of his accomplishments.
Bury McConnell with his wrinkly old ass sticking out, so the visitors will have somewhere to park their bicycles when they visit his grave.
