Recently I learned that Ea-nāṣir / Epic of Gilgamesh crossover fanfiction exists. Naturally this made me think of a millennia-spanning story in which Nanni is so enraged by being defrauded that he refuses to die until Ea-nāṣir's descendants make good on the debt. With interest. Something like Chelsea Quinn Yarbro's St.-Germain Chronicles, but with less angst and suffering, and more clever trolling of people who had no idea they were even related to Ea-nāṣir.
