I do agree that we should eliminate the electoral college, but I also think that Jan 6 would have happened no matter how we weigh and measure the votes. Trump lost the EC and the popular vote, and he wad going to cause trouble in any way he could. This time it was electors. Absent that, it would have been something else. He will be ready with different tactics this time.
