It’s not very helpful when you resort to the infantile text line you did at the end. Started off strong but insulting the person you’re disagreeing with will only incline to disagree more. I do agree with the sentiment though.
what is with this respectability that we need to uphold? as long as the guy punching you in the face is polite, we should be polite back? these people claiming that what they don’t agree with couldn’t possibly be conceived by someone critically thinking and not being paid for by their enemies don’t deserve my respect
I completely agree, but it reaches a point quite quickly that mirrors the idea of “snowflake.” I’m not saying you need to be polite but it’s a lot better at reaching an audience when you don’t insult them. We don’t need to respect someone to talk to them neutrally. They’ve already stopped to Russian asset, you have nothing to gain by stooping to their uniformed, insult level of commentary.
ah but i think im cuter about it and have more wit. im trying to be entertaining to a point. i’ll admit i’m being bitchy, but it is not without purpose.
I enjoyed it. Just be careful to not perturb the mods. We need interesting voices here.
