@flameeyes I had not seen this post before, read many others. Indeed a number of similarities, your post about open source and careers inspired me to be a little more selfish and feel ok about it. This recent set of posts is about the most I have indulged my curiosity in years. Clearly I stayed in academia a little longer, but the life long learning is core I think
