I've seen so much talk about Gemini lately, but I think there is a limitation to a general LLM's that's being overlooked in that discussion.

I asked chatGPT for "a picture of a typical dutch person", it replied with, "Creating an image of a "typical Dutch person" involves navigating through cultural stereotypes, which can be sensitive and may not accurately represent the diverse population of any country" before giving me this gem...

Generative #AI is not creative. It only simulates creativity. It's a reflection of the dataset it has been trained on.

That's part of why when you ask it for 100 pictures of "a Indian person" and you get the same tired stereotype over and over.

Can it be used creatively - yes, for sure. That's a different thing.
