But as always, follow the money. There is gas off Gaza, and Israel has issued licenses for exploration of the gas, which should belong to Gaza.
The US is still throwing billions at Israel and until the US stop approving what Israel is doing they will continue to do it.
The USA needs to tell them to stop.

It would be the best move for the US to do that, but I don't think they'd stop even if we did tell them to.
(They've never listened in the past, why start now? They are beyond caring what the world thinks about them.)
They are too close to their goal of purging all Palestinians, or enough of them that the remaining ones will be no threat to them.
A goal they've been working on for decades now.
We should have stopped payments to them long ago, but definitely now, and immediately.
