Scott Knowles@Skepticat I buy peanut butter you see the 1" of oil on the top you have to spend 20 minutes stirring until it's thoroughly mixed with the rest. Otherwise you get this brick of peanut butter on the bottom you can cut, let alone spread. I'm one who's angry with corn chip companies went to high oleic oil. I want oil on salt on bottom of the bag with the chips. Otherwise corn chips are just corn cracker. Same with potato chips. I love bottom with bits of chips with oil and salt.
Jay@Skepticat A slightly lower fat nut butter is pistachio butter, if anyone wants to go that route. Makes me wonder if pistachio butter with honey on a croissant would be an alternative to baklava.
Most other, and more common nut butters, are higher in fat than peanut butter is.
