Looking at the power company’s map, there are now twice as many affected properties #powercut
The section I’ve circled in red is where #cityFibre are currently digging up the road/pavement. And #westernPower have underground cable problems. Smoking gun or just coinkydink? 🤔😀 #powercut

@russ one very hot summer about 15 years ago I was in the datacentre when we heard a very loud bang from the substation outside, followed by the datacentre going relatively quiet as all the AC shut off. It was so hot within a minute or two that we had to shut down all the servers, even though they were on UPS the AC wasn’t.
Just me and Graeme Fowler stood in a silent, roasting DC after ten minutes or so 😂
