So Stephen Miller has this fantasy that red states will send National Guard troops into blue states to uproot and deport immigrants.

It's tough-guy posturing that makes zero sense if you spend more than half a second thinking about it.

@pbump it’s interesting to play that scenario out. Send the TX guard into New Jersey - for example- while Biden is President. When they arrive, have the Gov request that DoD federalize the guard and have them remain on TDA (Temporary Duty Assignment”) there for an indefinite period of time. Anyone who then tries to leave NJ is then subject to court martial for desertion.
