seriously though, I'm currently experimenting with bluesky as per a poll I held, and I have to actively force myself to use it because of how there is ZERO interaction on there, none, nada

like there's still INTERACTION on tumblr but its just mostly rbing posts and stuff, rarely ever get asks

@kapii I also think that the boost-culture on fedi plays a big role
like, on other microblogging services, including presumably tumblr (idk never used it), you kinda just boost and/or like everything, move on, and sometimes say something funny in reply, but you don't get into conversations
Then you have the Fediverse, where the most boosted things are either memes, or some of the most HEATED discussions, or things that people actually enjoy or find important and wanna share
@cyrus absolutely! you CAN have conversations on posts, but its a different feel to how interacting with other people here is
i think i just found a good pocket of the internet in the fediverse
