If you believe for one moment that they do, you're playing into their hands.
Lack of knowledge has always been one of the pillars of control.
Without knowing how they're being controlled, the subject of abuse can never find a way out, because all the proverbial exits are carefully guarded.
And make no mistake.
In the US, Canada, and the UK, LGBTQ+ children are being abused and their modes of escape controlled in exactly this fashion.
