Alex McKeever@pretendo why can’t I verify my email I used to create my PNID? My PNID is RetroReviewYT. I created said account through the website and successfully linked it to my Wii U, but now I’m stuck not being able to verify my email associated with said account.

@pretendo @retroreviewyt yep I finally got it verified. The only thing that sucked was there wasn’t anyone else on Mariokart 8 😂
@pretendo @retroreviewyt just learned that the Wii U can’t power external hard drives reliably unless you have a beefy enclosure like the one I bought that was a Sabrent branded enclosure… bought a couple of these cheap USB 3 2.5 inch enclosures and the fn console threw a fit even though I was powering it with a powered USB hub. Why Nintendo designed it that way is a horrible oversight.
@retroreviewyt We have had success using relatively cheap external hard drives from sources like Amazon. Ensure your hard drive is getting enough power with a good Y-Cable and you should be a-ok!
@pretendo @retroreviewyt just to show that the enclosure I bought is being successfully powered by the USB 1.1 in my iMac G3 from Early 2001… the Wii U should’ve been designed to accommodate these USB only enclosures. Oversight by Nintendo perhaps?
