Hello folks, I wanted to know if anyone has any idea why distrowatch periodically goes down for days before returning. I mainly use it to find out if some distros have updates to their ISOs but I find it very annoying that quite frequently it’s down completely.

Distros are ranked by pageviews iirc, so its probably the greedy neck beards trying to increase the rank of their fav disteo, not the suits

My guess is it’s run as a hobby by A Guy “on his own time and his own dime”.

I mainly use it to find out if some distros have updates to their ISOs but I find it very annoying that quite frequently it’s down completely.
