An article from Polka Magazine [french] about a new book dedicated to Weegee - which I linked in my @Flipboard magazine POL!FEMO https://flipboard.com/@leobrogioni/pol-femo-mkmhnkebz  - contains a photograph that caught my attention and that I want to share with you.
It's an image of Weegee at work, presumably writing a caption for one of his photos. The photojournalist is at the back of his car, sitting in front of the open trunk. The trunk has been modified and organized to serve as a workspace and contains cameras, flashes, flashbulbs, boots, chassis, a bag, a spare wheel, various car tools, a typewriter, and a flashlight. It's a photo from 1943: in eighty years, almost everything in the trunk has been replaced by a smartphone.
