VOA Russian reporter Valentina Vasileva, covering the Munich Security Conference, spoke briefly with Rep. Nancy Pelosi about Navalny’s death. The former House speaker said it’s “a horrible tragedy and his imprisonment was also a horrible tragedy.”
Navalny’s death, if confirmed, “raises real and obvious questions about what happened here,” White House National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan tells NPR.
