Paradox confirm no Linux support for Prison Architect 2 but investigating Steam Deck

Prison Architect 2 from Double Eleven and Paradox Interactive was recently revealed with an entirely new look, and while the original has full Native Linux support, the sequel will not.

It's completely anecdotal, I know, but:
Last time I tried playing Stanley Parable, the 'native' Linux version just did not run for me.
Running the windows version using Proton, it ran flawlessly.
Basically, Proton is great, not sure why people have issues with "oh but it's not native so bla bla"
@Endark @gamingonlinux The issue isn't if it is "working", the issue is "support". If something is broken on Linux (via Proton or not), they are telling you they are not going to necessarily bother fixing it. Meaning things like... oh, you know, multiplayer (probably not applicable here, but I hope you get it now), might go bye bye.
I tried to play Dead Island:Riptide (native) and just did not run. The game is free for a few days on Steam. The game start and out to the system.
With GE-Proton 8-6 over Steam, the game run perfecly.
This situation is rare.
